"I arrive, I kneel and I weep": the incredible feat of Maël, 18, who carried a 35kg cross to replace the stolen symbol from Pico d'Aneto in the Pyrenees
Maël le Lagadec is an 18-year-old young alpinist. He has just accomplished an incredible wager: to rebuild and install a cross on the highest peak of the Pyrenees. The cross at Pico d'Aneto was stolen last April. "I am proud to have succeeded in accomplishing this project". It was the first time he had climbed this summit all the way to the top.
