The Knave in the Nave, the Asp in the Apse

Incinerated churches, beheaded priests, bloodshed during mass, desecration of the sacred, Catholicism is up in flames, as its edifices are hollowed out by the enemies of the faith.

Another insightful article by Elizabeth Yore on the state of disarray within the Catholic Church. One cannot help but think that this deterioration is not accidental, but directly linked to the rise to power of a new anti-papal lineage at the Vatican—now spanning thirteen years.

«Roma locuta, logica finita»

«Rome has spoken, logic is at an end»

There is a passage in Book Gamma of the Metaphysics that one always rereads with a smile that is not particularly charitable. Aristotle, weary of those who denied the principle of non-contradiction, decreed that there could be no discussion with them: whoever maintains that something can be and not be at the same time and in the same sense, he says, resembles a plant. Not a fool, nor even a sophist: a vegetable. One likes to think that twenty centuries of theology took this warning seriously. God does not contradict Himself, the truth does not contradict itself, and a Church guided by the Spirit cannot teach on Monday the opposite of what it solemnly and universally taught until Sunday evening. All this, of course, was before 2 August 2018.
