Reply to Father Alessandro Minutella
Is it Cionci or isn’t it Cionci?
Where had we left off with the third instalment on the syndrome of the Great Prelate? Ah yes, with Minutella’s insults. Let us resume this theme, for it lends that certain charm to those who know how to wield it sparingly: the wretch, the cursed, the dunce, the dishonest, the coward — this is how Antonio Romano described him (9 August). Reiterating on multiple occasions the «confused psychologist’s» utmost professionalism, Minutella persisted in asserting that the phrase «explosive cocktail» was Romano’s, when in fact it appears at min. 28:49 of his self-congratulatory video of 6 July (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5nuDchhta6Y).
During his invective against Marco Tosatti on 5 August, Minutella claimed that Romano’s article had not received a single like. The sad truth is that on Tosatti’s page, «likes» are not even enabled. What a blunder! Don Alessandro speaks purely out of hearsay, and blindly trusts the fanciful reports conveyed by his most loyal adherents. In his chronic inability to discern satire from reality, jest from slander, on 10 August the «father of joy» once more unleashed his fury upon Marco Tosatti, accusing him—amongst other things—of being an una cum who never cited what Padre Pio supposedly told Father Amorth: «Do you know, Gabriele? It is Satan who has entered into the bosom of the Church and, in short order, shall come to govern a false Church». Yet this too proves a baseless fabrication, for the remark is embedded within an article published on 7 July on Marco Tosatti’s Stilum Curiae blog, entitled «Leone XIV and the prophecies of the false Church», penned by a certain Antonio Romano.
With equal temerity, Minutella collected another falsehood, maintaining that journalist Andrea Cionci had publicised in a podcast Antonio Romano’s Freudian psychoanalysis. Without so much as a prudent verification, the Successor swallowed everything his rather inattentive collaborators fed him, only to be contradicted by Cionci himself. Meanwhile, one of the Piccolo Resto’s faithful assured Minutella without hesitation that Romano and Cionci were one and the same person! Though conceding to this most peremptory assertion that his follower was «brave and bold», Minutella remained perplexed. Yet to remain consistent with his most recent article on the syndrome, this was the tenor of his emotional response: It could well be!
Since May 2025, Romano has been writing that we would find two antipope claimants, and that during the sede vacante, God Himself would intervene—non-canonically—in order to vanquish the false Church. So as not to unsettle his listeners to the point of spiritual peril, Cionci never so much as mentions Antonio Romano; indeed, in his podcast «Un giorno in granprelatura» of 10 August, he declares that the moment he begins to read one of this «author’s» articles… he grows bored. Cionci is indeed correct. Credible witnesses attest that once they opened the QuotidianoWeb blog and began laughing at Gianfranco Colella’s cartoons, they were soon overwhelmed by irresistible waves of sleep the moment they read Romano’s articles.
Hence to the «twice-trained theologian»: in what conceivable way can Romano and Cionci be one and the same?
Before once more spouting a hail of nonsense, why does Don Alessandro not inquire, read, and study? Yet even this question will be buried beneath an avalanche of insults. As proven, Minutella plods ahead, ever heedless and reckless, even as he daily professes to be a «serious man».
The renowned psychiatrist Carl Jung entertained quite peculiar religious beliefs; yet even his first spirit guide, Philomenon (his second was Ka), so plagued him that in 1916 Jung distinctly perceived his house «filled with spirits». I cannot but wonder how the followers of Minutella endure the spirit guide known as the Successor.
Lastly, that same wretch, the cursed, the dunce, the dishonest, the coward—a label I shall no longer apply to Minutella, so vile has the matter become.
I wish to extend my earnest solidarity to Don Alessandro for the slanderous accusations levelled against him in connexion with alleged sexual abuses.
