A meeting opens in Rome today between the antipope Leo XIV and the presidents of the episcopal conferences, marking the "jubilee" of the tenth anniversary of Amoris Laetitia. That document—which began the dismantling of the sacrament of marriage—had opened many people's eyes. It is a fitting moment to read this incisive opinion piece by Msgr. Martin Grichting, a distinguished professor of canon law, Vicar General Emeritus of the Diocese of Chur, and former consultor to the Vatican’s Congregation for the Clergy. He demonstrates that Blaise Pascal had already exposed the stratagem used by Jesuits to strip the Ten Commandments of their substance—the very same tactic employed by Amoris Laetitia. AS

Is the Force Still With Us?
(The following is a re-print of an article I published back in September but which the author thinks is more timely now in light of recent happenings and the very real threat of the Vatican changing the Liturgy, specifically, the Doctrine of Transubstantiation.)
Abomination in the Diocese of Chur (Switzerland)
A Swiss bishop absolves 3 women who gave consecrated hosts to dogs, denying sacrilegious intent. For A-M. Valli, it is a sign of a Church that has lost the sense of the sacred: the Eucharist profaned, no excommunication, only a liturgical retreat. Faith in the Real Presence vanished, Communion reduced to a "gadget".
