“O God, from my youth you have taught me, and I still proclaim your wondrous deeds. So even to old age and grey hairs, O God, do not forsake me, until I proclaim your might to all the generations to come.” (Psalm 71:17-18)

The airplane arrived in Boston early on a clear sky Monday. I was coming from London and I was quite tired after several days in Europe. Arriving at Logan Airport the immigration officer quickly checked my passport and told me: “Welcome home” with a serene smile. That simple gesture remains with me to this day. America had been my home for two decades at that time. Boston felt like home but soon I was going to settle in Central Virginia for good. I was carrying something new with me. The previous August 15th I had been baptized and confirmed as a Catholic at the Metropolitan Cathedral of the Most Precious Blood in London. That day at about 3:00 p.m. I received Holy Communion for the first time.

“Now a traveler came to the rich man, but the rich man refrained from taking one of his own sheep or cattle to prepare a meal for the traveler who had come to him. Instead, he took the ewe lamb that belonged to the poor man and prepared it for the one who had come to him.”— 2 Samuel 12: 4

I won’t say much about the men of the cloth that got me baptized because I can say little good about them. I did not know those were members working for the now infamous St Gallen group, self identifying as a mafia. They were about to begin a persecution that continues to this day. In time I would be convinced that the motivation was envy. Perhaps the stupidest kind of envy. Men that have everything in this life envy the one thing God has given to their neighbor. It’s a strange kind of sin that is profound, blind, and very close to the brutal darkness where the spiritual enemies of God reside. I will spare you the details of that awful adventure but I can say I share the experience with the whole Church and when I say “Church” I refer to the Pusillus Grex, the Little Flock that Christ addressed in Luke 12: 32: “‘Do not be afraid, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.”

See, many years before I decided to be a Catholic that little flock became the target for God’s enemies. From the beginning, forces infiltrated within the Catholic Church at large brought about all the heresies and rebellions that the Mystical Body of Christ suffered. Those errors became more entrenched in the second millennium of Christianity. Little did I know that the men baptizing and confirming me carried that misery inside themselves. The priest that gave me the first glimpse into these problems said to me: “The corruption visible from outside is nothing compared with the corruption one sees from inside.” And sure enough, I was unwittingly surrounded by that corruption from day one. This is merely a picture, I am not worthy of condemning any man but the truth is there for all to see. All kinds of scandals came and are now in sad display not only in Rome but worldwide. The Little Flock that “subsists within” what was once the Catholic Church is now oppressed by sodomites, heretics, and gnostics. Those have finally taken over the ancient Catholic institution after a long period of malicious seepage going back centuries.

“The most evident mark of God’s anger and the most terrible castigations He can inflict upon the world are manifested when He permits His people to fall into the hands of clerics who are priests more in name than in deed, priests who practice the cruelty of ravening wolves rather than the charity and affection of devoted shepherds.” — St. John Eudes

Years went by and I must admit I did not notice how I was adroitly deceived into accepting things that were not natural to the faith of Christ. Mainly the Bugnini Mass. It took a long time to read about the history of the Church, the evolution of its institutions and the gradual insidious degradation she suffered since the early days of the Western Schism some have lightly called “the Reformation” — at the other end of those five centuries of spiritual war the same deception appeared again when John XXIII confessed: “Ho detto ai cardinali: aprire le finestre. Qualcuno ha avuto paura del freddo: era aria fresca, non tempesta.” [“I told the cardinals: open the windows. Some were afraid of the cold—but it was fresh air, not a storm.”] — the Church was being deceived again into the “aggiornamento” a “bringing up to date”. No one, as far as I know, noticed back then that the work of God needs no corrections, no updates, no adaptation to a the changing ways of the world.

A different John said some 20 centuries before John XXIII:

“Do not love the world or the things in the world. The love of the Father is not in those who love the world; for all that is in the world—the desire of the flesh, the desire of the eyes, the pride in riches—comes not from the Father but from the world. And the world and its desire are passing away, but those who do the will of God live forever.” — 1 John 2:15-17

Who would dare to tell St John, Apostle of Christ that the Church should open the windows to “bring up to date” the Church, the eternal vessel of God’s truth? You see, I was blind to the existence of those hideous forces inside the Church. I did not know how to read the subtle signals that showed the trouble brewing. Well, trouble continued to brew through my entire life. I was a ten year old boy when the II Vatican Council began to session. I was 15 years old when the Novus Ordo Missae entered the life of the Catholic Church. I was outside looking in. I did not understand one bit.

Fast forward twenty years to 1995. At that time a number of events made me gravitate towards the reading of Christian doctrine. Some authors were Protestant, some Greek Orthodox, and the majority Catholic. The works of C. S. Lewis (Anglican) were those that interested me the most. Soon I ran out of Lewis’ books to read so I began to re-read his whole works. When I learned C. S. Lewis had a Catholic Father confessor I realized I had a divine sign in front of me. The Anglican professor was an arrow pointing in the direction of the Catholic Church. In a way, Lewis was my guide and tutor in the faith. We will revisit that in a future article if God allows.

Guided by Lewis and the Fathers of the Church I was soon discussing things related to the faith within the early Internet forums. There I was detected by a young priest who insisted that I could be baptized at once. He was a member of an Institute heavily influenced by the late Theodore McCarrick. I will let you infer the rest. Today I sincerely conclude that I was being recruited to the cause of the wolves in sheep’s clothing but I was blind to their schemes for a long time. I am very grateful to Jesus and to Our Lady of Fatima for yanking me out of that situation.

Back to that September long ago … After my baptism and confirmation I took an overnight flight to Boston. I spent most of the flight conversing with a young professor of Medieval English Literature at Magdalene College, Cambridge. That was C. S. Lewis’ Chair! That happy coincidence that brought Lewis to my mind that night. And thus we return to the first line in my story. The following morning was September 11. I was at a friendly neighbor’s kitchen enjoying a cup of coffee when the images of the attack to the World Trade Center appeared on the television set.

You know how the rest of that tragic morning transpired.

The following day I received a phone call from a teacher working for a well known and prestigious American university. She was elated that the “capitalists pigs” were being “punished”! My blood boiled. When I calmed down I had a chance to reflect. What those people wanted —called them the current political left or anything you want to call them— was the destruction of the country. That person care nothing of the thousands of people dying horribly. Hate and resentment were more important to her.

The Twin Towers represented the prosperity of common people through commerce, hard work, unity of purpose, love of country, and much more. The devil hates anything producing even the smallest imperfect version of human happiness. The devil hates the pursuit of happiness.

In time the persecution knocked at my door. The “friends of McCarrick” managed to make normal life impossible to me. To this day I do not know what brought about such visceral hate although I have some notion. Not that I cared too much because I ended up in a better place where I could write and share these things with you. I have made thousands of friends this way. Those thugs seem to always achieve the opposite of what they intend. I digress, I know.

I’m afraid no one is truly understanding what is going on. The mission of this false church is to make the Eucharist and the small flock disappear. That is clear. Remember Emmaus when Christ disappears before the eyes of the disciples (Luke 24:13-33) after blessing the bread at the table. There the inn is a figure of the Church. The blessed bread is a figure of the Eucharist: after Calvary Christ goes “snatched away and taken to God and to his throne” but His Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity remain with the Church in the Eucharist. That was His first apparition to the disciples on “the first day of the week, at early dawn” on Sunday, obviously. The image is perfect. It is the beginning of “the Day of the Lord” —in Spanish “Domingo” is the word for “Sunday” and it is clearly related to the Latin word “Dominus” meaning “Lord”!

Now we have arrived at the end of the journey. On this side the Eucharist must disappear for Christ Our King to appear in glory. We are close to the other bookend. The false church is about to erase true Communion because His Presence is unbearable for their god (Satan) but God has permitted that so that all things prophesied are fulfilled. The enemies of God will be erased instead. Christ came here to stay with us and no one can make Him go away. You just wait and see. Persecution will ensue but it will only achieve bringing upon them the wrath of God.

The prophecy of Fr. Leonardo Castellani

Father Leonardo Castellani teaches in Will Christ return or not? how Peter’s failure may visit the papacy at the end of times:

“The Mystery of Iniquity is the hatred of God and the worshiping of man. The Two Beasts are the political power and man’s religious instinct turned against God and controlled by the false Christ and the false prophet. The Obstacle is, in our interpretation, the remaining in force of the Roman Order. The Great Harlot is religion deconstructed and surrendered to the temporal powers, and it is also the ethnic Rome, where this mystery of iniquity was revealed for the first time to the astonished eyes of John, the last apostolic visionary. The worshiping of man combined with the hatred of God has always existed. “The mystery of iniquity is already at work” — writes St. Paul to the Thessalonians. The Mystery of Iniquity is the origin of the city of man contending with the City of God from the beginning; it is the root of all heresy and the fire of all persecutions; it is the quiet incestuousness of the creature settled on its specific difference; it is the continuous rebellion of the sinful intellect against its beginning and end, the echo multiplied through the ages of Satan’s “I shall not serve.” — “but the One who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way.” The paramount of The Mystery of Iniquity is the hatred of God and the idolatrous worshiping of Man. The Mystery of Iniquity tends to materialize in the body politic to crush the saints. It was the force that condemned Socrates to death, persecuted the prophets, crucified Jesus, and later multiplied the martyrs; and it will be the one who will destroy the Church when the Obstacle is removed, allowing the appearance of a man of satanic greatness, a commoner of perverse genius, perhaps a man of Jewish origins, superhuman intellect, absolute wickedness, to whom Satan will extend his power and his accumulated fury. The Church, assisted by the Holy Spirit, impedes that manifestation and lessens it, resting on the human order that the Roman Empire organized in a body of laws and political practice; but the day will come for the end of this age, and the One who now holds it back, the Obstacle, will be removed. The Holy Spirit will perhaps abandon that social-historical body we call Christendom, sending his own to the most barren isolation, giving them “the wings of the great eagle to fly to the wilderness.” And then the existing temporal structure of the Church will be caught by the Antichrist and will fornicate with the kings of the Earth (if not all the Church, at least a noticeable part of it, as it has already happened in history) and the abomination of desolation will enter the holy place. “So when you see ‘the abomination that causes desolation’ standing where it ought not ...” then it is fulfilled. Will that be the reign of an Anti-Pope or a false Pope? Will that involve the material destruction of Rome? Would that be the ascension of a sacrilegious cult? We do not know. We know that the Apocalypse of St. John, when describing the Great Harlot points with all precision to “the city of seven hills.” That interpretation is given by the very angel who is revealing the doctrine to St. John.”

“These things happened to them to serve as an example, and they were written down to instruct us, on whom the ends of the ages have come. So if you think you are standing, watch out that you do not fall. No testing has overtaken you that is not common to everyone. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tested beyond your strength, but with the testing he will also provide the way out so that you may be able to endure it.” — 1 Corinthians 10:11-13

Shine. This is the moment to give witness of Our Lord.
