What if the Mashia’h awaited by the Jews and the return of Jesus were to form a single character and a single event? A supreme imposture that would prepare the advent of a false millennium, a "new golden age", an era of "peace and security", which would constitute the devil’s ultimate deception.

I perceive that this deception is rapidly taking hold before our very eyes, carried by influential voices within certain Christian groups, notably pastors and teachers from dispensationalism like Amir Tsarfati and John Hagee, and many other spokesmen for Christian Zionism. By placing the national restoration of Israel at the center of the prophetic plan, sometimes granting it a priority almost equal to, or even greater than, Christ and the New Covenant, they are unconsciously preparing the ground for the Antichrist.
By promoting the idea of a restored earthly kingdom for Israel as the central fulfillment, certain teachings risk diverting believers from the supremacy of Christ. Prioritizing allegiance to Israel to the detriment of Christ’s sacrifice.
2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 warns us: “Let no one deceive you in any way, for that day will not come unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God.”
2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 adds:
“The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth, so as to be saved. Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, so that all may be condemned those who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
Matthew 24:24 warns:
“For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.”

Shedding light on this possible messianic imposture has absolutely nothing to do with any discourse of hatred against the Jewish people. The authentic Christian, while remaining vigilant and keeping away from the devil’s snares, in no way cultivates hatred towards any ethnicity or people. On the contrary, they love the Jewish people, like all other peoples, praying for their salvation while forcefully rejecting all deception.

We know that Satan transforms himself into an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14), so he could offer the world what many expect: a king on the throne of David in Jerusalem who brings with him an era of peace, security, and prosperity, simulating an "earthly millennium". Many will bow down, including believers who will have lost sight of the fact that Christ’s Kingdom is not of this world (John 18:36).
May the Lord keep His own from deception, even the most subtle.
