The beloved Pope Francis, as Robert Francis Prevost prefers to call him, was an admirer of the Italian abortion icon Emma Bonino and a supporter of Joe Biden, the undisputed promoter of the American abortion industry; the latter, in 2024, in a gesture of contempt for the Catholic faith, made the sign of the cross upon learning of the laws passed by Florida Governor Ron De Santis to restrict abortions.
Like Bergoglio, who claimed to defend human life from conception but in practice ignored it, Prevost repeated the same slogans, even quoting Mother Teresa of Calcutta: «the greatest destroyer of peace is abortion», without uttering a single word about the American politicians who seek to liberalize abortion up to the ninth month of pregnancy. Most of the bishops chosen by Prevost remain indifferent to the slaughter of children and reflect the thinking of those who appointed them.
I recall that Leo sent a message to the participants of the March for Life 2026 in Washington without so much as a mention of the children killed before birth. According to Prevost, the reception of immigrants is a far more serious issue than abortion, and in defense of the pro-abortion Cardinal Cupich, he told a journalist: «Anyone who says they are against abortion but agrees with the inhuman treatment of immigrants in the United States, I do not know if they can truly be called pro-life».
Upon returning from Mexico, Bergoglio had stated that he could not respond to questions about the proposals under discussion in the Italian parliament on the family because «The Pope does not interfere in Italian politics… Because the Pope is for everyone, and cannot involve himself in the concrete, internal politics of a country: this is not the role of the Pope», only to later attack Trump on his anti-immigration policies.
The same behavior was exhibited by Leo, who, during his dispute with Trump, declared: «I am not a politician… I do not intend to enter into debate with him». And yet Prevost enjoys politics, and while tolerating the marked anti-Christian stance of communist countries, in reference to Trump, on Palm Sunday he claimed that Jesus «does not listen to the prayers of those who wage war», and on April 7th he described “truly unacceptable” the threat issued by Trump against Iran.
At the office of the county clerk in Will County, in the Chicago metropolitan area, on October 3rd, Robert Francis Prevost’s request to vote in the midterm elections was recorded. That a head of state would vote in the political elections of another state is unprecedented; that this individual is identified as the Pope is scandalous.
Evidently, Prevost intended to send two strong political and moral messages. The first was directed at undecided Catholics and Protestants: if you do not know for whom to vote, I will give you a precise indication.
The second was an appeal to abstentionists: go and vote for the good of the homeland and the Church.
It is true that Trump is not a credible politician; however, an «authentic» Pope would have remained silent, whereas broadcasting to the entire world his intention to vote for the Democrats has revealed his true intentions and his indifference in defending the lives of the most vulnerable and defenseless.
The two candidates who won in Chicago’s 1st District, for whom Leo XIV voted, are Jonathan Jackson and, for the Senate, Juliana Stratton, both belonging to the progressive wing of the Democratic Party and staunch supporters of LGBT rights and abortion.
Now the same individual will travel to South America, and we will witness scenes we have seen before: he will speak of justice and peace, meet victims of sexual abuse, expressing his full solidarity and attention, while the victims of Rupnik and Luti, after repeatedly asking to be heard, have for years been forgotten and humiliated in a limbo created to measure by the Bergoglio administration and now managed by Robert Francis Prevost himself, about whom Viganò, the FSSPX, and independent traditionalists say all manner of things, yet inexplicably persist in calling him «Holy Father».
