Among the priests excommunicated by the Bergoglian regime, Alessandro Minutella deserves special mention. While the una cum (those who criticize the Pope but celebrate in communion with him) continued to acknowledge the heresy of “Pope Francis” without daring to address the issue of the invalidity of his election, Don Minutella from his blog ‘cried out’ – in the literal sense of the term – the submission of the Church of Rome to the power of Lucifer. The synodal-rainbow Church snubbed the priest from Palermo and his movement, while the schismatic traditionalists who rejected even Vatican II accused him of schism. Citing Saint Thomas, Don Alessandro sought to convince his followers that attending the Masses of the heretical Church of Rome was a sin, forgetting, however, that the Saint was referring to heretics recognized «by a sentence of the Church» (S. Th., III, q. 82 a. 9). The rebel priest acknowledged having several flaws, but he had not realized the most dangerous one: considering himself the last bastion defending Catholicism and believing his Little Remnant to be the only movement authorized by the Holy Spirit to oppose the false church. Furthermore, he was often overcome by anger, cursing those he considered heretics and thus discouraging priests from joining his path, but the greatest flaw was yet to manifest. In 2021, Don Alessandro cited Anna Katharina Emmerick and Don Dolindo Ruotolo in reference to the Great Prelate, who was said to be a humble and holy person, of Italian nationality and elected by the Catholics of Rome, but certainly – he said – it was not him. In reality, the priest did not accept sedevacantism and was eager to be recognized as the Great Prelate. To clear a sure path towards solemn recognition, in 2022 his catecheses on the theme intensified: the Great Prelate would be like King David, full of grace and power, of noble blood and miraculously elected by acclamation by the Romans after the death of Benedict XVI, “there are no alternatives.” In November, he had the courage to say that he was not the Great Prelate, “and I already promise obedience to him now.”
On February 20, 2025, Don Minutella repeated the words spoken in the previous day’s homily by Father Johannes: “we no longer need to wait for the next Pope, because we already have him among us,” and he commented: “whoever disagrees, leave.” He continued to complain, as always, about the enemies persecuting him, and in reference to the Great Prelate, he concluded his speech with this expression: “because perhaps… perhaps… perhaps” (implying it is me). In the morning broadcast of June 24, Don Alessandro announced his withdrawal from the Piccolo resto because some priests of the association were not convinced of recognizing him as the Great Prelate, and he replied: “it is the people who ask for it… the people of the Little Remnant want the Great Prelate.” Two days later, he repeated: “the people ask for it everywhere… I invite you all to rally around the one whom the Lord has chosen… God wants it, the Holy Virgin wants it. I make a solemn and definitive appeal: God wants it.” In complete contradiction with the prophecies he himself had announced, Don Minutella was recognized in Monza as the Great Prelate-Lion of Mary, and Celestino was the first priest to publicly confess celebrating Mass in communion with the Lion of Mary.
On January 16, 2021, an anonymous mystic prophesied thus: “the prelate will arrive very soon! He will arrive and will be a very strong Lion of Mary. He will defeat, together with the Mother, together with you… together with you this terrible head (Bergoglio)!” Let us ask ourselves a question: How could this “little woman” know about the Lion of Mary in 2021? I have already tried to provide an answer, but the mystery of the prophecy remains.[1]
On October 24, Father Celestino submitted the effectiveness of his curses to God’s good pleasure: “with the intercession of John Paul II, I curse Prevost, the false pope… I curse the CEI… I curse Fernández… I curse all the clergy who know the truth but do not want to come out for convenience and personal gain.” Don Franco Brogi was the only priest who effectively countered Don Minutella on YouTube, against whom Don Alessandro would fly into a rage when mentioning him.
At the Milan event on December 8, 2025, Don Alessandro recognized the dogmatic title of Co-Redemptrix, Advocate, and Mediatrix for Mary, and furthermore – with the supposed authority vested in him – excommunicated the deceased antipope Francis, Leo XIV, and the entire schismatic church. In the broadcast the following day, the Lion of Mary abandoned the solemn tone of the previous day and, with clear reference to Fernandez’s foolish words on the liceity of the title Co-Redemptrix, said that everything had been done “among friends.” Naturally, this playing with the role of Great Prelate-Lion of Mary, this I would like to but I can’t, fueled confusion and disorientation both in the faithful who followed him and in those who would have liked to. In fact, playing the role of the Lion of Mary intimidated Don Alessandro, who did not notice the inconsistencies he fell into. On January 23, 2026, the same priest announced that Don Pablo Tamayo (a priest from Costa Rica) had received a message from Jesus addressed to the priests of the Little Remnant, and added that Father Tamayo “celebrates in communion with the Lion of Mary. So, let the others leave if they do not agree.” Five days later, he said that the Lion of Mary is “perhaps the holder of the munus.” To be or not to be, that is the dilemma. Even during the recent American tour in 2026, the priest from Palermo would inveigh daily against the “wretched scoundrels, enemies” who slandered him. Certainly, it was not easy to trust a Great Prelate chosen by the Lord to save the "Remnant" of the Church who boasted of his great and unique sufferings: “Padre Pio suffered so much, Minutella perhaps a bit more”; Faustina Kowalska suffered because she was not believed, “I experience this somewhat, perhaps even more.” The core of every catechesis was Don Alessandro Minutella and his tragic martyrdom. The priest exhibited his “locutions” almost daily as sure proof of the work to which the Blessed Virgin had called him. Just to cultivate a humble profile, Don Alessandro informed that his guardian angel would tap him on the shoulder when he had not finished a thought, “if you want to believe me, eh… some are surprised by these supernatural outbursts of mine” (22-11-2022). He considered his locutions reliable and incomparable to those of other mystics around: “I don’t do like some vague mystic, there are many around, (who say) that is the false church, Jesus told me so,” but the most disconcerting thing was convincing sincere priests animated by good intentions to follow him. On February 27, 2026, the first gathering of priests of the international Marian association concluded in Medellin, and Don Bernasconi said that one should not believe the prophecies about the Great Prelate who would manifest after the Warning, because reality surpasses prophecy and God had chosen the Great Prelate who was already among us. In this way, the Marian association operated on prophecies with a “cut and paste” operation to adapt them to its needs and expectations. Don Alessandro was now proceeding by mystical propulsion, and between one locution and another, on March 9, he communicated the one received two days earlier from the Virgin: “the time has come to speak clearly, the guide of the Catholic faith is I, and that only here God willed that the Catholic faith be preserved, and elsewhere it is only and solely a counterfeit.” Despite all the confirmations received from Heaven, and having stated that his munus had a value superior to the stigmata of Padre Pio, the Sicilian priest remained so uncertain about his identity that he did not dare to consecrate his priests as bishops. After announcing for years that the Great Prelate would arrive immediately after the death of Benedict XVI, he disliked being called that, saying: Do not call me Pope, call me Father… or Guide… or Lion of Mary.
The first “Piccolo resto” branded book was also released, in which the author stated that it was a problem to find a bishop who would consecrate Don Minutella to transmit apostolic succession to him, adding: «However, I do not exclude that Don Minutella has already received episcopal ordination through a supernatural intervention of God»[2]. Especially concerning Andrea Cionci’s initiatives, in April, the director of LifeSiteNews John-Henry Westen, dedicated several broadcasts to the invalidity of the election of Francis and Leo XIV. The names of excommunicated priests were mentioned, but of Don Minutella, there was no trace, no one spoke of him, even though he was the only one who had clear ideas about the false church that sought to materialize the plans of the apostate Jorge Mario Bergoglio. On May 4, Don Alessandro communicated that Don Tamayo had betrayed the Little Remnant, however, his invectives were mainly directed, as always, at the “enemies.” Meanwhile, July was approaching, when the SSPX would consecrate new bishops without Leo’s permission, and Minutella was fuming because he had no intention of remaining inert in the face of this generalized “state of necessity,” stating on May 18: “if I were a bishop,” I would immediately ordain the seminarists of the association. But did he not have the munus from Heaven? Had he not already proclaimed the dogma of the Co-Redemptrix? Why then all this hesitation? Don Alessandro was aware that his munus was so artisanal that it did not authorize him to consecrate anything or anyone. In fact, the poor priest was experiencing a very serious difficulty, because his much-proclaimed “prophetic mission” was about to be overshadowed by the Society of Saint Pius X, which if it had been truly excommunicated, would have attracted a multitude of faithful to the detriment of the Little Remnant. The devotee of the Lion of Mary responsible for Adoración y liberación, Vicente Montesinos, understood the situation very well, and on May 22, in a “special intervention,” stated that if Don Alessandro had the munus, but without the possibility of ordaining priests and consecrating bishops, “then we will be facing a theologically diminished figure.” The message, although expressed mildly, was clear: break the hesitation and proclaim himself bishop. Father Lerner also sought to accelerate the timeline, and the next day said that if Don Alessandro had received the Petrine munus, he did not need to be consecrated by a bishop of the false church, because he already possessed the power of governance and the power of order. Exhibiting calm and confidence, the Lion of Mary showed appreciation for the considerations of Montesinos and Father Johannes, but delegated the decision to the priests of the association. During the May 25 homily, he said: “No bishop will come, today, Pentecost, here in the United States, I make this solemn statement. I am sorry to disappoint you, no bishop will come, then we will decide what to do. Know this, no bishop will come… When the Lord told me in a locution, you will be consecrated bishop, we need to understand what that means.” Don Alessandro sought to convince his followers that the SSPX was a mirage, because even if excommunicated, they would continue to celebrate una cum Leo XIV. The only alternative was him, and he stated: “those gathered at the table are waiting for the prophet to call the last of the sons, the smallest, the one who is herding the sheep, because the prophet says: we will not sit down at the table until he comes.” Don Alessandro had now crossed all limits, and his illusory expectations were numbered. After Don Pavel, who had left the association in November, in the evening catechesis of June 8, Don Ramon Guidetti also managed to break the spell, and announced that he would no longer obey Don Alessandro, because he had betrayed his vocation to confirm the people in the faith and was proceeding by force of locutions. Don Alessandro traveled the world to proselytize, but continued to say that he was not afraid of being abandoned by everyone and remaining alone. With all the good will in the world, it is impossible to understand how withdrawing to private life is compatible with the prophetic mission of the Great Prelate who must save the Church!
In reality, the indecisive Great Prelate had a great hurry, and after a few days, he changed his mind about his episcopal consecration, hoping for an Orthodox bishop who would consecrate him, because everyone is making their own church, “and we are just watching!?”. Trying to mask his urgent “state of necessity,” he reassured his followers: “there is no hurry.” Two days later (June 16), ideally addressing Msgr. Vigano, he said: “I who beg for the help of some successor of the apostles.” To defend himself from his own insecurity, he insisted that the Little Remnant was the only valid proposal and that he was the only one in the world to say that in Rome there was Satan’s church. Naturally, he took care not to cite my books. Due to the problems created by Don Ramon, on Thursday the 18th, Don Alessandro completely “snapped,” and fidgeting convulsively, he yelled: “Do not tell me the Great Prelate. Do not say those words to me. Thank goodness I told you from the beginning. I am, I am, but do not tell me. As soon as you tell me, the devil will gore you.” After announcing the Great Prelate for years, he now recoiled at the mere mention of such an expression! The Great Prelate was now acting under the guise of Don Alessandro Minutella. The following day, he hit rock bottom, invoking the Madonna’s curse on the “little remnants” who had separated.
Many times Don Alessandro had repeated that Benedict XVI had not renounced being Pope, but had placed himself in “sede impedita”… perhaps the Lion of Mary will also be tempted to make the same choice? Joking aside, we do not know what the priest from Palermo’s next moves will be, but we know with certainty that the Church is living through a period of great confusion, where in the name of the “objective state of grave necessity” adopted by the Society of Saint Pius X, many are trying to create their own church. Padre Pio knew the secret of Fatima through divine revelation, and therefore the apostasy of the false church that would act within the true Church. There are bishops like Schneider and Strickland who like to be interviewed to express their continuous complaints against the Church, but they are literally “afraid” to cite prophecies that, until now, have been completely accurate; not only that, but in light of the facts, it is equally clear what they have already announced: there will be no repentance on the part of those responsible for the synodal-rainbow church who will persevere in their errors, the confusion and schism will last for a few more years, until the Lord pronounces his solemn ENOUGH. In the early 1960s, a group of people with their children presented themselves to the saint of San Giovanni Rotondo, and one of them asked, “Father Pio, when will the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary occur?” The Saint replied more or less with these words: “I will not see it, you will not see it, but they (referring to the children) will.” Since the children were about ten years old, if we credit Padre Pio’s words, it is not far off!
