How openly and blatantly the Synodal Church is leading its members to hell is becoming increasingly disturbing by the day.

Even more concerning is that those being led astray are so numbed by their addiction to the comforts of their compromise with sin that they seem not to care.

Worse for them, they seem not to realize that to selectively believe in a God who is only love is not to believe at all. It is nothing more than practical, conscience-soothing atheism dressed up as “Catholicism”—or, better put, what is known as the Synodal religion.

Because one has a duty to know and study, at the very least, the fundamentals of the Catholic faith, this type of chosen, convenient ignorance will not be a defense on Judgment Day.

Make no mistake, though: those who were entrusted to shepherd them, and who instead have been feeding them this theological sewer juice, will be judged even more harshly. After all, James 3:1 explicitly teaches: “Be ye not many masters, my brethren, knowing that you receive the greater judgment.” Elsewhere, in Ezekiel 34:8–10, God Himself says through the prophet: “As I live, saith the Lord God, forasmuch as my flocks have been made a spoil, and my sheep are become a prey to all the beasts of the field, because there was no shepherd: for my shepherds did not seek after my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flocks: Therefore, ye shepherds, hear the word of the Lord: Thus saith the Lord God: Behold I myself come upon the shepherds, I will require my flock at their hand…”

Maybe the head of the Pontifical International Marian Academy (PAMI), “Father” Stefano Cecchin, OFM, was busy “dialoguing,” “journeying,” or “listening to the spirit” on the day in seminary when these two passages from Holy Scripture were discussed.

It was reported over the weekend that Cecchin, who is supposed to bring the highest honor to Our Lady and her Son, said that “God does not punish.” Allegedly, it was also not the first time he had made these Scripture-denying claims. Never mind that the claim also contradicts the teachings of the Church, as well as the message of Our Lady at Fatima.

But, as is usually the case with these synodal heretics, the impenitent Cecchin made sure to store up wrath for himself on the day of God’s righteous judgment (Romans 2:5) by making even more blasphemous and heterodox comments.

He went on to declare himself an “enemy” of Marian apparitions whose messages speak of divine punishment.

The Franciscan made the remarks in Guadalajara, Mexico, following a conference on Mary and the Defense of Life, and despite these atrocious remarks, Cecchin remains president of PAMI.

This, of course, has itself become a pattern in the Synodal Abomination: the more heterodox, the greater the protection and promotion from Rome.

“I am an enemy of apparitions that speak of God’s punishment,” Cecchin said, adding that “God does not want to punish, as the Catechism of the Catholic Church states; God wants to save everyone.”

He then blamed the devil—which I thought the Synodal Church didn’t believe in—saying, “Punishment, fear, is the work of the Devil.”

As I said earlier, this pretend-priest is no stranger to controversial anti-Catholic statements. In a 2023 interview, Cecchin declared that “certain images of Mary as an obedient, enslaved, submissive woman are no longer understandable today, nor can they be accepted.”

Anyway, men like Cecchin and the God-is-love Synodal crowd are in for a big surprise. Not only will God punish the wicked to an extent in this life, but also in eternity.

From Scripture alone, we have a multitude of examples of God’s divine justice, but I will quote just two.

In Hebrews 10:30–31, we read: “For we know him that hath said: Vengeance belongeth to me, and I will repay. And again: The Lord shall judge his people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” And in 2 Thessalonians 1:8–9, we see Christ come “In a flame of fire, giving vengeance to them who know not God, and who obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Who shall suffer eternal punishment in destruction, from the face of the Lord, and from the glory of his power”.

All I can say to the sheep who continue to choose their easy religion, and to the wicked prelates who confirm them in their sin, is: let me know how it works out for you…
